Provide technical oversight for Rule’s safety and health work product.  Responsible for assessing client operations, and developing and implementing effective safety approaches, programs and management tools.  Develop and conduct training programs.  Specializes in the manufacturing, construction and insurance industries.  Additional responsibilities include maintaining Rule’s marketing and insurance programs.

CIGNA P&C; Loss Control Manager – Rocky Mountain Area, 1994 - 1999

Managed and trained workers compensation loss control consultants through goal setting and coaching techniques.  The book of business managed in this eight-state territory consisted of up to 850 clients, including light to heavy manufacturing in low to high tech industries and construction contractors. 

Metrum, Inc.; Facilities Manager/Safety, Environmental Engineer, 1991 - 1994

Developed a comprehensive safety and environmental program in this high tech manufacturing facility. Managed a $2MM remodeling project, lease negotiations, the maintenance of the production equipment and facilities, security, telecommunications, and safety and environmental compliance.

Total Petroleum, Inc.; Marketing Safety Manager, 1989 - 1991

Responsible for employee and general public risk reduction at the 625+ convenience stores in 18 states. Managed health and safety aspects of emergency responses, including conducting air sampling and results interpretation.

Sundstrand Aviation; Plant Safety Engineer, 1987 -  1989

Directed plant safety and security functions of this Denver manufacturing facility.  Quantified the status of the safety program in each department.  Used training, safety committee development and an ERTW program to improve OSHA compliance and risk minimization.

City of Duluth; Risk Manager/Loss Control Manger, 1982 - 1986

Directed safety and industrial hygiene programs for city administration, police, fire, public works and parks departments.  Directed multi-jurisdictional emergency preparedness field exercises.
